Tlaquepaque Sedona BW

Product Description

One of our first destinations in Sedona was a lovely arts and crafts village called Tlaquepaque.  This living arts community thrives within the heart of Sedona, Arizona, and is one of their prides and joys.  This unique little place was named after a colorful Mexican city on the outskirts of Guadalajara, using a word from the Nahuatl Native Indian language (ancient Aztec language) meaning "the best of everything". And indeed, it did have the best.  Restaurants, shops, even the architecture were wondrous works of art.  I could have stayed here all day, photographing the sun dancing through the tree leaves and up and down the courtyard walls.  It was definitely a stop worthy of our time and attention.  You can read about its history here:  https://www.tlaq.com/about/history/
